Rooks, a young card master and descendant of the original hero, must enter the Card Tower, defeat Galneon, and prevent his return. Along the way, he is joined by spirit companions: the fire spirit Sara, the water spirit Sylvia, the earth spirit Griffith, and the wind spirit Poe.
