Super Mario Bros. 1
The first Super Mario Bros. game is full of unexpected glitches and hidden features, from gameplay exploits to developer Easter eggs.
Double Death
It’s possible to die twice by repeatedly pausing and unpausing the game after being hit by a Hammer Bro. This delays Mario‘s respawn and allows more hammers to hit him.

Endless Invincibility

Fake Bowser

Floating Enemies
Throwing an enemy at a wall will briefly make it bounce upside down. If you time a collision between two upside-down enemies, they will float up and away.
Mushroom Bomb Spawning
In World 5-3, you can place a mushroom where a vase once was to make bombs spawn from it.
Rocket Cheat Code
A cheat code using a second controller while in a rocket will remove all your health, but you can continue playing and can recover by collecting hearts.
Super Mario Bros. 3
The final game in the trilogy is known for its incredible depth and a wide range of glitches that can be exploited by players.
Wall Jumping
It’s possible to wall jump by sprinting and jumping at the exact moment Mario clips into a wall.
Goomba\’s Shoe Glitch
In World 5-3, grabbing a Goomba’s shoe while holding a spiny shell will cause Mario to glitch and hop around with “crazy pants.”
Wall Clipping
There are areas where you can clip through walls by sprinting and crouch jumping at a corner, allowing you to skip major sections of stages.
Extended 1-Up Theme
To trigger an extended 1-Up theme, hit a 1-Up mushroom with a raccoon tail at a precise moment.
Behind the Scenery
On World 3-9, you can fall behind a white platform and go through a pipe to travel behind the scenery, making you invincible to enemies. This is also possible in World 5-7, where you can get behind the scenery in the sky.
Endless Ninja Flips
You can activate a Starman and grab a vine as the power-up wears off to cause Mario to continue doing ninja flips.
